The original title was: I'm in luuuurve. Then I decided that was waaaay too soppy.

I have a boyfriend!!! First boyfriend ever! This is a historic moment, my friends! His name is Thomas (Tom) Leavens. He isn't in my form, he's in 8R2. He's in my DT class though. I met him on the France field trip. And no, he's not a long distance relationship. He sat in front of me on the bus with Alex, a guy from my French class. And it's weird, because every time I go on a field trip, I always make up a story about how I meet my true love on a field trip (I know. Lame and cliche.) I'm not saying he's my true love or anything, but he's really nice and sweet and funny. Kind of cute, too. To all the girls who read this blog: he's blonde, and yes, he's English. I hear you girls squealing.

Well, him and Alex were teasing me and Teegan, and I was teasing them right back. We had a lot of fun during the trip. The France trip was in Boulogne, a small town, and it was actually quite fun, because we could go shopping in little shops, and they let us all go shopping while some people had tea. After that we went to the chocolate factory, where I've actually heard all of it before, but in Chinese. After that, we went to this shopping mall, where I had to buy the souveniers fo da jie, er jie and mommy. Couldn't find anything for daddy.

Okay, so the monday after that, went back to school. Hung out with my friends as usual, and I happened to encounter Alex, Tom and Ben (another guy I met on the France trip). And what followed was a fun chase&fight. After that, returned to lessons like normal. And then, after tutor time, Tom comes up to me and says 'You know that text I sent you? Just ignore it.'

I hadn't read the text. So when school finished I turned on my phone and read it. It said: 'Do you want to go out with me.'

Before I could reply, He texted me again, saying 'Did you read the message.'

Sam: 'Yes. Did you write it?'

Tom: Yep.

Sam: Do I ignore it?

Tom: Depends. What would your answer be anyways?

Sam: What kind of questioin is that???

Tom: The question was, will you go out with me. Yes or no.

Sam: Maybe. Tell you tommorow.

Okay, I left him hanging on the line. Don't blame me!! I was panicking at the moment! Well, in the end I said yes. And currently, I'm still going out with him. And I'm really happy about that.

Summer!!!!

FINALLY!!!! SUMMER'S HERE!!!!

Holiday every day! On the first week of summer holidays, I went to MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP!!!! WHOO-HOO!!!! Bet you envy me, eh? Cost a bomb though. 480$. And on the second saturday of summer, I went up to London to shop, and to watch a really really really funny play!!! I got this really nice outfit. It's kinda like an overall, except WAY nicer. Cost me about 12 quid. (That means pounds, by the way.) It's actually considered cheap, because the original cost was 15 quid, but since we were the first customer, we got 3 quid off. And then we found this AMAZING store, which is really nice but realyl expensive. I call it the Peter Pan store, because all the dresses there are soooooo fairytale-ish. My sis bought a 35 pound dress, which is a very fairy-ish dress that looks really nice with a belt. And the great part is: I can fit into it!!! So I can borrow it when she's around!!!

The food court in London was great too!!! They had foods from all around the world, and free samples too!!! That brings me back to the days when I used to go to Jusco for tea time, because they gave so many free samples. I had sushi for lunch, and sushi for dinner too!!! And it tasted WAY better than Tesco sushi!

The play was soooooo good and sooooooooo funny!!! Our seats were the cheapest, but they turned out to be really good!!! They had space for our feet, we could hear perfectly well, we could see the actors, and the only downside was that sometimes we had to stretch our necks to look up. And one of the funny parts about the play was that it was a four person cast, so when a person is playing two characters, and the two characters are talking to each other, the person has one hat in his hand, another on his head, and he keeps switching them, and changing his character! The play is called 'The 39 Steps', if you wanna know.

And now I shall talk about musical theatre camp. It was soooooo great! It was an entire week of dancing, singing and acting!!! I made tons of friends, and had loads of fun!!! My character was actually a pretty small part, though I didn't really mind. It was the experience that really counts.

Schedule for the day:

8:00 a.m.: Breakfast (The food is soooooooo good! And the dressings!!! They have some really nice mashed potatoes and scampi!)

9:00 a.m.: Everything starts now. We warm up, and play really fun games! There is spider, there is blood potato, there is the ball game, etc.

11:00 a.m.: Break. About twenty minutes of biscuits and drinks.

1:00 p.m.: Lunch

4:00 p.m.: Break again!

6:00 p.m.: Dinner

9:00 p.m.: Day is finished. We hang out in the common room, explore, etc. There was this once we went out to the woods, and it was soooo cool! The woods are really thick though. And it was really scary because it was already dark out.

And there were other things too! On Wednesday, we went bowling!!! And it was soooo much fun! I had two strikes! :D And there was this chair of doom thing, where everyone went on it, and you kind of get electrocuted. The game ends when you let go of the poles you're supposed to grip.

And on Thursday, we had a cabaret! Which is where you get to show off you skills and all that. I went on twice! I sang a solo, which I decided last minute, and last minute got moved up the list, so all of a sudden, Haydn, a friend of mine, goes up to me and says "You're on now!" and then I freak out. But it was really cool, and everyone loved it! My second appearance was when Harriet, the girl who plays the main character in the play, is singing. I had to play the accompaniment for her on the piano. It wasn't bad for someone who only had one day to practise it!

And there was this girl, called Maddy. She was the girl I hung out with for the entire of camp. She's really nice, and a really good singer. For the cabaret, she sang 'Popular' from Wicked, the musical. And she was reaaaaally good!

I have the emails of everyone who went to camp! A friend of mine, Murad, sent the list to me! The camp is also sending me a dvd of our musical to me in a few months time.

Okay, some things that I really want to clarify. I do not have a crush on anyone. Not from school, not from camp, not from anything else. Camp has shown me that I shouldn't just make do with crushing on someone who isn't worth crushing on. All the guys at camp were really nice and kind, and treated me well. (No, I do not have a crush on any of them. Not Tash, Not Haydn, Not Yahya, not Aidan, not Danyaal (I have a feeling he's gay.), not Murad.) So at the moment, I am single and happy.

Well, that's about it. Sorry for the not updating thing. I was just really busy.

What's that coming over the hill? Oh, just me.

I haven't updated in a long long time. In fact, loads of people think that I've quit blogging. Silly, pathetic humans. I will never give up blogging. It is one of the things in your brain that is nagging for you to do it. Eventually, you give in and voila! you're updating.

Alright, this entry is mainly about what I've been doing in school. I've decided that my favourite subject is French. Apparently I'm in the bottom class, but everyone is surprised at the fact that I can learn so much faster than the rest of them. And you know me. I LOVE to be on top.

I have three field trips in June. One of them is to France. No, not Paris. It's a day trip to a little French village. My second field trip is to Essex coast for Geography lesson. And my third is to a castle in Essex for history. I actually don't have Geography and History, but Humanities is a combination of Geography, History and Religious Education.

Actually, I was on the waiting list for the trip to France. But then, a spot opened up and I could go! =D Furthermore, I won 100 US $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you remember my thirty-nine clues thingy? Well I won third prize in episode 2!!! What are the odds??? MUAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you're wondering about the new template. Well, lately, I've been going to deviantart and looking at really nice pictures. This picture is now my new wallpaper. Pretty, innit???

Alright, now about girl stuff. OMG, everyday I see that guy I like, and he is so totally cute!!! Our English project ended like, ages ago, but by some miracle, I now sit next to him in tutor group. How awesome is that!!!! Too bad he's got a girlfriend....but I have high hopes. Now for the bad relationship news...

.....I found out that there's a guy who likes me. I actually like him a little bit. He's someone really really smart. And according to ALL of my friends, he flirts with me a lot and I should ask him out. And I'm starting to think my relationship with that guy is kinda a hopeless case.

Anyway, back to regular stuff. There are guys reading this blog, and I don't want them to feel like vampires to garlic. My group in English were supposed to make a film, but we ended up arguing so much we didn't manage to finish it. I can see it right now....My first F in English.

As for house news, we've found a pretty nice house. It's got a HUGE garden, complete with a sun deck and a summer house!!!! I've never had a summer house before, and if my friends come over, we can just chill in it. Furthermore, if we get this house, my room is great!!! It's perfect size, furthermore I have a lot of windows and they all face the garden, so I've got tons of sunlight! The only bad things about this house is that the number of bathrooms is limited, furthermore the entire house has got wallpaper with purple flowers on it. My mom refuses to take it off. She says that's what gives the house character. I say that's what gives the house defects.

Well, that's about it. I'll update......soon.

Ing-uh-land

It's been a hectic month! I can't believe I live in England now. I'm sorry that I haven't updated in so long, I just wanted to take enough pictures to post here. But first, I'll update you readers on what I've been doing for the past month.

Firstly, I moved to England. The trip was absolute torture. The plane took an hour longer to get there, I was bored like hell, no in-flight movies, and there was this stupid guy that kept looking at ms sister and I disapprovingly, because we were watching a really funny show on her laptop, and we were laughing a lot. Yeah, sure, it was our fault, but chill, dude!!

It was five degrees when we got there, and freezing cold. My family and I were only wearing thin jackets, because we thought it was spring, so we didn't need to wear warm clothing. *Sigh* Anyways, it was a long trip home, and we had to come home and unpack. My room is actually kinda nice, because the bed's right next to the window. My sister was complaining about how she wanted a big room, and she didn't mind sharing. In the end, she had to stick with the room she already had. The bad part about having the big room is that I have to share with my sister if a guest comes and she's here. But I don't mind, because I like company when I'm falling asleep.

I got a bicycle, and I named it after Mercury, the messenger of the Roman gods. (Also associated with Hermes, the messenger of the Roman gods.) Pretty good name right? My mother also bought a bike. Really cheap, only 40 pounds!!! I could buy that. She named her's Queen. In Cambridge, everywhere is FLAT. I mean, there are so few buildings, and the buildings are all so short!!! There is no such thing as a condominium. Furthermore, Cambridge HATES cars. It takes longer on car than on bicycle, because there are all sorts of weird roundabouts for cars, and bicycles are treated like royalty. There are all sorts of cycle parking lots and cycle paths and all that stuff.

Sandwiches are all the rage in England. Apparently they're the best things for lunch, aside from pub lunches. I'm okay with the sandwiches I make at home, because I can put all sorts of weird stuff in it. But the sandwiches that you buy in stores are so BORING! Ham, tomatoes and lettuce. But there was this really nice store where they put hoisin duck in a baguette. Now THAT was good.

My allowance is 35 pounds a month. It's actually a pretty good amount, but I was supposed to get 50 :( Nevermind, I'll just save up. I have my own HSBC atm account. Except over here, they don't call it atm. They call it a 'hole in the wall'. Weird.

I've bought all my school supplies and uniform. The uniform is actually quite nice. It's a sky blue polo shirt inside, a navy jumper outside. you can choose not to wear the jumper if it's nice and hot during lunch or break. We have a choice of wearing pants or skirts. I chose pants. They're both black. For shoes, we just have completely black flats. They're design doesn't matter, so long as it's black. The jumper's a bit oversized, but apparently that's the point. In school, I've got a lot of friends, who are a bunch of giggling girls. I have a buddy who's supposed to guide me around the school, her name's Emily and she's really nice. And there's this other girl named Danielle who's really nice as well. And I've got a lot of other nice friends, but I'm too lazy to name them all.

My subjects are pretty cool. There are normal ones, like Maths and Science. In Science, we're doing forces, like push and pull, but it's way more complicated than Lai Meng's version. Nobody respects or likes my Science teacher, which I don't understand. He's actually quite nice, and a pretty good teacher. (Of course, he doesn't beat Teacher Ling or Mr.Mike.) For maths, I'm considered really really smart because they're currently studying algebra, which I already learnt. I answered a, according to them, really really really hard question. It was like this: p(p+4) Expand the brackets. So easy. Of course the answer is p squared plus 4p. But they all looked at me like I was some sort of freak genius and started asking questions about me.

In English, we're acting out the Tempest, and we're making our own short film. There's this really cute guy who's in my class, and he's really funny. Unfortunately, one of my nice friends like him, so, can't do anything. Anyway, I've had a few French classes, and I LOVE IT. My teacher's really nice, and she does everything by computer, you know, the screen one, like the ones you see in Lai Meng. And all I have to do is just memorize a few words and I can write a whole paragraph! And the scenario is exactly the same like in Maths class, where people think that I have super amazing superpowers and can read the computer's mind. And it's really fun, because we play all sorts of games in class.

That was week B. So far, I've only gone through one week in school. Week A is filled with Drama and Music classes and all that. Haha, I can say those subject in French. La theatre and La Musique. Can't wait for it! But it's so unfair, because everyone in my school can sing well. My talent isn't special anymore....Oh well.

So that's about it. I'll post the photos now

Sorry the pic is so small. This is me in town with Mercury

Me at the local church.

I watched Les Miserables. Lovely musical.

Désolé je n'ai pas blogged dans une telle longue période.

Aloha! I've FINISHED MY ASSESSMENT!!!! OH YEAH BABY!!! WHOO-HOO!!! My assessment was last week. I studied SO MUCH and SO HARD! My father is proof of that. You see, every dinner, after I've finished studying, I always say out all the paragraphs that I memorized. Guess what???!!! I'M A STRAIGHT A STUDENT!!!!!!!!! OH YEAH!!!! NOT ONLY AM I CLASS MONITER, I'M A STRAIGHT A STUDENT!!!! AND IF I STAYED IN SAYFOL, I BET I WOULD'VE BECOME A PREFECT!!!!

*coughs* I've been sick for a while too. Anyway, here are my assesment results and their descriptions:

English: This was a year 9 standard English paper. It was too hard for the students and three-fourths of them failed. However, I got 89%! Unfortunately, this wasn't the best result in my year. Some supposed Korean genius got 90%. Grrrr....Ji Yen says he's really nice though. She goes to trombone lessons with him.

Maths: 86%. A lot of careless mistakes. I should check my exam paper a bit more....

History: So proud of this subject. I memorized SIX TOPICS. And I knew that we only needed to memorize three. Unfortunately, I did not know about the caesarian section, so I got 95%!!!!!!!!! If it wasn't for that stupid question, I would've gotten 100% though. Nevertheless: yay! I'm so happy!

Geography: Three points improvement since last term's exams. And that was just enough to get me an A! 80%.

Science: HUGE improvement for this one! I got 84%! And I only got 69% last time! Actually, I got 78%, not counting our science project, which takes up 10% of our assessment. But my teacher gave me more than enough for my project to push me into an A! Thanks, Mr.Mike! (He's currently dating my English teacher. They look so cute together!)

Computer: 86%. :( I could've gotten 90%. I just wasn't careful enough to see that it was megabyte and kilobyte.

And those are my results for my assessment! Straight A's! Alright, now I'll tell you what's going on nowadays:

  1. I've sent the boxes of all the heavy and big items I want to bring to England. Unfortunately, I have to live without them for one month. I bet Waterweed and Coralweed, my turtle soft toys are lonely without me...

  2. I've bought a suitcase to go to England. It's a medium-sized one, and I'm quite happy with it. My sister wanted to buy a small-sized one, but daddy bought me a medium-sized one in the end. YAY!

  3. I'm going out with my friends to Megamall this Monday! It's prophet Muhammad's birthday and we're going SHOPPING!

  4. Having an awesome time in Sayfol. I have a lot of friends. Pity I'm going to move.
  5. I don't wanna move. Nothing's changed there.

  6. Photographs were taken yesterday. I got to sit next to my class teacher since I'm class moniter!

  7. Go to youtube and search for 'Riverdance women of ireland'. Their tap dancing and ballet are soooo awesome.

  8. Listening to a lot of emo songs. Go look for 'Pierrot the clown' on youtube and you'll know what I'm talking about.

  9. Kakak Siti went back to Indonesia........I'm going to miss her. On the other hand, we thought we had to survive for one month without a maid but it turns out that daddy hired Kakak Naria for one month! Yay! Still going to miss Kakak Siti, though....

  10. Bleurgh. Daddy got me a driver. That means I can't go to choir with Ji Yen anymore. Too bad, I really enjoyed it.
  11. I'm going to cosplay! That's an anime thing, where we go to this exhibit and all these anime souveniers are there! And I'm wearing an outfit too! Here's who I'll be cosplaying as:
Cute, huh? It's going to be hard to find a blue blazer like that, though.

Well, that about covers what has happened since I last updated. I'll blog again soon!

So everybody put'ya hands up!

Bored, for the billionth time this week. My Algebra needed some help from my mother. But my Maths teacher, she didn't understand how I didn't know, so she said "That's the problem with geniuses. They don't think the same way as normal people do." I was so happy!!! She thought I was a genius!!! And no, she was NOT being sarcastic.

On Saturday, 31st January, I went to Pavilion for the first time without parental supervision! It was so, totally, fun. We ate lunch, then we went to Forever 21 to try on clothes. OMG, they have the best clothes there. After that we met up with Yusof, this guy who Brenda invited. He went to band with me, so I know him. And so we went to watch that new movie, Inkheart, and Brendan Fraser was SO HOT!!! But before that, when we bought tickets, I made a rly good impression on TeXia's mum, and when they got home, TeXia told me she kept saying how mature and polite I was. Honestly, all it takes is a smile and a shake of the hand.

We also went to that supermarket, Marcato, and there, we made Ji Yen put on my sunglasses and we messed around her hair a bit, so she looked like Michael Jackson! We also made her do the "Michael Jackson dance". I recorded ALL of it on my phone. So everytime she calls me, that will be my ringtone!!! XD!!! After the movie, we thought this was all so fun, we decided to go again on Monday to KLCC!!! Unfortunately, JiYen could not come. So all four of us went on Monday. Those three wanted to go to Aquaria, but smart me said that it was too expensive, so we decided to go to Petrosains instead, which would just cost us RM4 each! Aren't I so smart?

Sadly, when we got there, we realized that Petrosains was closed on Mondays. But the shop wasn't closed! So we went to the shop and had a great time playing with the merchandise. In the end Sabrina bought two glitter balls, Brenda bought one glitter ball, and TeXia bought me one as an early birthday present! TeXia didn't buy any though, so Sabrina lent her one for the day. And then Brenda and Sabrina thought of me and TeXia going to the Ground Floor so that they can throw the balls to us from the top floor. In the end, we chickened out, because it would've exploded on impact and the security guard was watching us.

Then we played kicking the glitter balls around. If we missed it, people would kick it to us, and it was so much fun. And then we went to this area, and we hid each of our balls and tried to find each other's balls. I won in the end, because Brenda and Sabrina were stupid enough to hide both of their balls together.

Then we went to play in the KLCC playground. To get there, we had to cross the swimming pool bridge, but then it said that we couldn't wear shoes on the bridge, so we had to run across the bridge carrying our shoes. It was a hot day so the bridge was FREAKING HOT!!! When we finally reached there we had a lot of fun playing on the facilities, but when we got to the swings, which Sabrina was awesome at, the security guard told us that there was an age limit on the swings and that we weren't allowed to ride to swings. After that, I got told of for accidentally going to the blue area near the swimming pool by the SAME security guard. She was glaring at us as if we were a tarantula.

So we went to Kinokuniya, but then my dad called me to tell me to wait for him at Isetan. I had to quickly go, so I told TeXia to tell the others and rushed there.

Oh, and you should rly get an account and play the game at this website: www.the39clues.com I'm an Ekaterina, and two of my friends are Janus, and one of them's a Lucian and I have another friend who's and Ekaterina too! And it's SO much fun.

Until next time,
Vera Venus.
