Well hello there.

It has occured to me, that I have not updated in a sehr long time. Sorry, ^.^ Any chance you could forgive me? I'll give you an update on what's happening in my life so far, even though no one's actually reading this blog anymore......actually, I use this blog to keep up and think about my life, so I guess it's more like a diary o.O oh well!

Well, I'm going out with someone named Jared now, who's extremely sweet, funny, cute, etc. He fences, plays bass guitar, and he's an aspiring actor.....am I the only one who finds all of this extremely cool? He's brunette, with long hair, and he's extremely short. It may sound mean, but there is actually no other word to describe it. ;) He is awesome, though. Extremely awesome.

I will not give details on how he asked me out, what happened etc, I will give a brief summary, because I know for a fact that my mother reads my blog once in a while. o.O Hi, mom. Basically, I liked him, we got to know each other through drama and muffin destroying during cooking class:

Jared: (he didn't bring ingredients) Come on, I'll help you pour the batter out.
Sam: Awesome, thanks ^.^ (pours it out) Eurgh......it's all gloopy. Is it supposed to look like this?
Jared: ......No.....
Sam: Oh. Well, we'll see what happens.
*finished pouring it out*
Sam: (looks at kitchen counter) Shite.
Jared: What?
Sam: Well, for starters I forgot to add in vanilla extract, which is what gives it its flavour, I also forgot to add baking powder, which makes it rise, and I accidentally added 100 grams too much sugar.
Jared: SAM!

XD The muffins did get ruined, and I threw them all in the dustbin. After that, we ended up being dance partners in drama class, and we chatted on facebook. Then during summer holidays, he went off to France, and I got ready to go back to KL. We still kept in contact during facebook, and at some point, he told me he fancied me. And then I told him I fancied him, but we didn't actually become bf/gf. Then I went off to Malaysia, and ended up missing him loads. When I came back to school, he asked me to be his gf, and ever since then, I am his girlfriend. ^.^

So basically, that's our story ^.^ In other areas of my life, I went back to KL, and I had the most AMAZING time! I met up with my friends, and we had the greatest day ever! :D When we met up, we were all squealy, then we started chatting, and we ended up going to the park and hanging out there. Afterwards, I dressed people up in clothes in stores, and we tried on dresses from stores ^.^ It was really AMAZING :D I
I'm in year 9 now!!!! And I am in top set for everything 8-) Also, Mr Mann has given me the responsibility of my very own choir to manage! :D I manage the girls' choir, Music Standstills! :D Thanks, Mr Mann!!!!! (He's head of the music department) I've got a pretty good group of friends, including Isobel Dewolf, who is PERFECT. If my family and her family is willing, she MIGHT come with me to Malaysia ^.^ Hopefully.

Birthday coming up soon! Can you believe that it's been two years since I started this blog??? Time flies by so fast O.O I really like writing in this blog, though. Despite the fact that I feel a pang of embarrassment when I look back at my old posts :P

I think that will be all. Goodbye! (for now)

News flash!

So, news flash, Tom and I have broken up.

Basically, we decided that since we acted so much more like friends, not to mention the fact that we didn't really like each other that way anymore, we should just be friends. So, at the moment I'm single.

When we broke up, I was crying a lot, but I'm okay now :) Da Jie phoned me and comforted me by sending an 'I hate twilight' website. (Which rocks, btw). Izzy, livvy and emmy were all not answering their phones :( But livvy and izzy found out on facebook, and emmy texted me, asking why I called her so many times. The next day, they all hugged me, and izzy lent me 'chicken soup for the girl's soul' (the first chapter, for some strange reason, is all about flat chested people. Are you trying to tell me something, iz?) We decided to skip film club and go round my house to watch 'The Pink Panther', eat junk and play 'just dance' on the wii.

It was really, really really fun :D I got over him with the help of my girlies. Tom's definitely over me. Kayleigh told me she asked him out yesterday, and apparently he said no. Not that I'd mind it if he said yes, of course. Now, he's going out with someone named Phillipa (mentioned in previous blog post as anonymous girl who fancies him) I knew it! Oh well...

Now that I'm not going out with Tom anymore, I can flirt without feeling guilty :D There's this guy I really really really like now. Let's call him Herby :D (not his real name) He's really sweet, makes fun of me....A LOT. I don't know why, I get attracted to guys who make fun of me... Tom keeps trying to guess who I fancy, and I keep telling him that I don't fancy anyone, but he seriously doubts it. He's narrowed it down to two people, and there's a 50% chance that he'll choose the right one. Apparently, those two were the guys that I was closest to when we were going out. o.O

I'm moving forms next year :( It's really complicated, but I chose Triple Sciences for my GCSE subjects with added Astronomy. Since there's only one Astronomy class, and that's on the other side of the year, I have to move forms if I want to take Astronomy :( When my friends found out today, I got squished with hugs, and Emily threatened me not to move forms....haha...heh...he...I hope she's just joking......but I feel so loved....I don't wanna move!!!!

Ooh, Amaru, a guy in my year, is amazing!!! Every year, there is this lucky draw for people who have perfect attendance, and he was chosen to pick the name, and guess whose name he picked? MOI!!!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!! So now I have a £10 giftcard to cinemaworld :D Thank you Amaru!!!! BTW, because of this, I have no decided that drama is not evil. But choir is not posh, either.

Oh, I got a Merit in my mock piano exam!!! YAY!!! But according to my teacher, I should be able to raise my game to a Distinction.....I seriously don't think that's going to happen :P My report will be coming soon, and hopefully, I will get blues and greens and no ambers :P I am quite doubtful, though. Oh well, we shall pray.

School report card system:

Green: Overachievement, for really perfect grades
Blue: On target, good
Amber: Some problem in this section
Red: Serious problem, definitely has to be looked into.

Piano grading system:

Distinction: So superb
Merit: Quite super
Pass: Normal, good enough
Fail: Definitely not good enough

I need to redecorate my blog!!!

As my title says, I have no idea how to get my new blog skin! When I do attempt to get one, I copy and paste it into my hyperlink thingy, and it turns out all weird, like there's a picture on top, but nothing else. AAARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

Anyway, let me tell you what's been happening in my life so far:

I had a slumber party! Well, barely any slumber. It started out when Jess told me what happened when she tried to make banoffee pie (she didn't wait for it to set and she forgot to put in the bananas. So she tried to tip the cream on top out, and the entire thing ended up in the bowl, mushed up together) so I thought that it would be a lot of fun if we went over to my house to make it together. Then we invited Izzy along, and it turned out to be a slumber party. But then Izzy couldn't come because she had stage crew for the S.I.T.E talent show (I will tell you more about this later on). So it turned out to be just me and Jess. But on the day Izzy texted me, asking whether Jess had arrived yet (because there was this whole complication about when she would arrive) and then I said she was already here. And it turned out, in stage crew, the only thing Izzy was doing was throwing away rubbish, and so she decided that no one would notice if she snuck out.

So she snuck out and walked over to my house, and then we started laughing about it. Jess was our head chef, since she had made it before (unsuccessful every time, but that doesn't really matter), I was assisstant chef, and Izzy was official taster! (Haha, we were thinking of making a video out of it). The first thing we did was to take the ginger biscuits and crush them using a roller. When I started to do it, Jess started laughing saying that I wasn't aggressive enough with it, and then Izzy said: 'Think of the person you hate the most and imagine that's his or her face'. And then we started laughing. Then I went online my new laptop (yay!) to put on music, and Val was online. And then Val started scolding me, saying that I wasn't online enough, and Jess got really interested in my conversation with her, and started talking to Val. Then we had to go to TESCO to buy some ingredients, and so we left the food to settle and we walked there. Val got mad because of this and said she was giving us a half hour time limit. So I went upstairs to change because I looked like crap and it was freezing upstairs.

And when I came back, I started talking to Jun Yu, and Val logged off after awhile. Then we had pizza for dinner and we watched 'Coraline' which, I have to admit is a pretty creepy film. Then we finished the banoffee pie, and when we tried taking it out of the cake tin, but then it became lopsided, and we were screaming, 'GET THE PIE!!!!' It was soooooo hilarious. We each had a slice (YUUUUMMMM!!!!) and then we started telling jokes. Jess isn't really good at jokes, so when we told her, she didn't get it. And when she did get it, she started laughing so hard. And then I started laughing, and then Izzie and we ended up on the floor laughing our heads off. Then Jess had to go to the toilet because she felt like if she laughed any harder she would wet herself. And then I went to the toilet upstairs because I felt like that too, which left Isobel singing 'All by myself'.

Then we played 'Articulate', which is a board game kinda like Taboo. And when Isobel lost, she started arguing saying that actually, she had won, then we fell down laughing. Then we played the Wii, and I ended up losing almost every game except for swordplay MUAHAHAH. So we started gossiping about people in school. Then we went to sleep after several kilograms of junk food (we brushed our teeth, don't worry).

And so, I had my first sleepover at my English house! Hoping I can get another one during the easter holidays! Anyway, moving on....

Let's talk about Tom, shall we?? Wow, long time since I've blogged. About seven months? A lot of things have happened since then. Let's talk about our first fight, shall we? Well, there was a rumour going around about me, saying that I had a crush on a different guy. Tom had apparently, heard this rumour from a lot of different people. At the same time, there's another girl who's both our friends. When we're walking together, she comes up to us and asks me to go away for a little while, because she wants to tell him something private. I do as I'm told (aren't I such a good girl?) and she whispers something to him and runs off. We continue walking together and I ask what she said. He turns to me and says: 'Don't be mad at her, ok?' and then tells me that she told him that she has a crush on him.

As a joke, I ask him whether he's going to ask her out. Even though I say it really casually, inside I'm swearing and praying to God that he doesn't break up with me to go out with her. Then he jokingly says 'Yeah, I'm crazy for her.' (I hope he was joking. Then again, he was laughing when he said that.) But then he says 'Of course not. Besides, she knows I'm going out with you.' But the next day, people come up to me and say that she's going to steal him from me.

Then one day, when we're walking together with Alex, he says Tom's going to dump me because of the rumour. I swear, my heart stopped. I pulled Tom away and asked him what was going on. He said that he was confused because of the rumour, and then I said it was just a stupid rumour. Then I asked him whether he was really going to dump me, then he said he didn't know. And then I said that that wasn't the only rumour going around, and I told him about how everybody was telling me that that other girl was going to steal him away from me. In then end, Alex got bored and asked him: 'Do you still want to go out with her?' Then he said yes. And then he asked me whether I still wanted to go out with him, which I said yes to. And it was resolved.

When I got back home, I texted him, and we had a whole text conversation:

Sam: I'm sorry about today.

Tom: No, I'm sorry.

Sam: How about we just forget about all of this?

Tom: Deal.

And like that, our first fight ended. But now, I'm worried again, because there's another rumour going around that another girl has a crush on him. It makes me wonder. Because since I've been going out with him, I've known that three girls have had a crush on him. I know how they feel, because I used to feel like that with Tyler. I hated that girl who was dating him, and I wished so much that that girl was me. But now, I'm that girl, and that other girl used to be my friend. Well, she's still my friend, but it's like there's a gap between us now.

But he's just so awesome. He's got brown eyes, and he's so sweet. There was this one time where we were sitting next to each other during a cover lesson. All we had to do was do work from the textbook. Then he wrote a note and passed it to me. I'll give you the whole conversation here.

Tom: What're you doing for lunch?

Sam: There's a cake sale in the hall today. Wanna come?

Tom: Sure. It's a date.

Sam: Yay

Tom: What lesson have you got before lunch?

Sam: Art. You have Humanities right?

Tom: Yeah. So I guess you'll be there before me (The Art block is just above the hall.)

Sam: I guess. Mrs.Elmslie always lets us out late, though.

Tom: Try not to get detention.

Sam: You make it sound like I get it on purpose.

Tom: LOLZ. Just try not to

Sam: Fine, I'll try my best to behave like an angel.

Tom: Won't be hard.

Sam: *is furiously blushing*

Isn't that so sweet? I didn't get detention in the end, but I did get let out late, so he got there faster than me. The cakes were horrible, but I still felt like I was on cloud 9.

There's a talent show every year in my school. It's called Stars In Their Eyes (SITE) and I actually auditioned with a friend of mine, Jodie. We auditioned with the song 'Greatest Day' by Take That. OMG, I love that song so much. But on that day I had drama practise, but I thought it'd be ok if I went for auditions halfway through. But apparently, I didn't pay attention to Mrs. Marston, the drama teacher, and she had arranged the auditions to be after drama practise, so when I went off, they sent someone to get me, and then she started telling me off, not just about this, but about everything, saying that I had missed too many rehearsals (I had missed two. And one of them was to go to the dentist.) and that I needed my proper costume, because I left mine at home, and I borrowed someone else, and then I realized that it was too big for me, so I wore something over it. And she made me take off the overall I wore over it, so it looked like I was wearing something really stupid.

Then later on, my friends, not knowing that I was supposed to wait until the end of drama club, came to look for me, and then Mrs. Marston looked at me and said really sarcastically: 'Of course. Samantha has to go. So what's it going to be? Drama or SITE.' And I was really panicking, because I was going to quit drama club anyway when the production finished. But she was looking at me so scarily.......I stayed behind and waited until the end, but it turned out I didn't get in :( Oh well. At least I tried.

I've played in my first piano recital!!! It was actually just luck that Mr.Mann, the head of music asked me to play. I was waiting to go into the classroom for choir, so I started playing the keyboard that was outside. Mr. Mann was passing by and heard me and asked me to play!!! Yay, it actually went pretty well. My scales were pretty uneven, but I'm still pretty happy with it :)

I got my report card back, and I did pretty well! The report cards use the traffic light system, so green means really really good, blue means on target (no better, no worse), amber means not a very stable mark and red means they're worried. All these marks aren't just based on tests, they're also based on your attitude in class, homework etc. I got four greens (French, German, English and Drama), one amber (Science, because I did really badly on one test) and the rest were all blue. I have to choose the subjects I want to do next year, and I've pretty much decided what I wanna do. They give you four columns, and you have to pick one subject from each column. The subjects that aren't in the four columns are compulsary.

Column A: Music
Column B: French/German (haven't decided yet)
Column C: Seperate Sciences (with an extra of Astronomy)
Column D: History
Extras: Mandarin Chinese

And that's it! At least I'm continuing with my music. Well, I think that's enough writing to make up for the seven months I haven't been blogging. Ciao!

The original title was: I'm in luuuurve. Then I decided that was waaaay too soppy.

I have a boyfriend!!! First boyfriend ever! This is a historic moment, my friends! His name is Thomas (Tom) Leavens. He isn't in my form, he's in 8R2. He's in my DT class though. I met him on the France field trip. And no, he's not a long distance relationship. He sat in front of me on the bus with Alex, a guy from my French class. And it's weird, because every time I go on a field trip, I always make up a story about how I meet my true love on a field trip (I know. Lame and cliche.) I'm not saying he's my true love or anything, but he's really nice and sweet and funny. Kind of cute, too. To all the girls who read this blog: he's blonde, and yes, he's English. I hear you girls squealing.

Well, him and Alex were teasing me and Teegan, and I was teasing them right back. We had a lot of fun during the trip. The France trip was in Boulogne, a small town, and it was actually quite fun, because we could go shopping in little shops, and they let us all go shopping while some people had tea. After that we went to the chocolate factory, where I've actually heard all of it before, but in Chinese. After that, we went to this shopping mall, where I had to buy the souveniers fo da jie, er jie and mommy. Couldn't find anything for daddy.

Okay, so the monday after that, went back to school. Hung out with my friends as usual, and I happened to encounter Alex, Tom and Ben (another guy I met on the France trip). And what followed was a fun chase&fight. After that, returned to lessons like normal. And then, after tutor time, Tom comes up to me and says 'You know that text I sent you? Just ignore it.'

I hadn't read the text. So when school finished I turned on my phone and read it. It said: 'Do you want to go out with me.'

Before I could reply, He texted me again, saying 'Did you read the message.'

Sam: 'Yes. Did you write it?'

Tom: Yep.

Sam: Do I ignore it?

Tom: Depends. What would your answer be anyways?

Sam: What kind of questioin is that???

Tom: The question was, will you go out with me. Yes or no.

Sam: Maybe. Tell you tommorow.

Okay, I left him hanging on the line. Don't blame me!! I was panicking at the moment! Well, in the end I said yes. And currently, I'm still going out with him. And I'm really happy about that.

Summer!!!!

FINALLY!!!! SUMMER'S HERE!!!!

Holiday every day! On the first week of summer holidays, I went to MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP!!!! WHOO-HOO!!!! Bet you envy me, eh? Cost a bomb though. 480$. And on the second saturday of summer, I went up to London to shop, and to watch a really really really funny play!!! I got this really nice outfit. It's kinda like an overall, except WAY nicer. Cost me about 12 quid. (That means pounds, by the way.) It's actually considered cheap, because the original cost was 15 quid, but since we were the first customer, we got 3 quid off. And then we found this AMAZING store, which is really nice but realyl expensive. I call it the Peter Pan store, because all the dresses there are soooooo fairytale-ish. My sis bought a 35 pound dress, which is a very fairy-ish dress that looks really nice with a belt. And the great part is: I can fit into it!!! So I can borrow it when she's around!!!

The food court in London was great too!!! They had foods from all around the world, and free samples too!!! That brings me back to the days when I used to go to Jusco for tea time, because they gave so many free samples. I had sushi for lunch, and sushi for dinner too!!! And it tasted WAY better than Tesco sushi!

The play was soooooo good and sooooooooo funny!!! Our seats were the cheapest, but they turned out to be really good!!! They had space for our feet, we could hear perfectly well, we could see the actors, and the only downside was that sometimes we had to stretch our necks to look up. And one of the funny parts about the play was that it was a four person cast, so when a person is playing two characters, and the two characters are talking to each other, the person has one hat in his hand, another on his head, and he keeps switching them, and changing his character! The play is called 'The 39 Steps', if you wanna know.

And now I shall talk about musical theatre camp. It was soooooo great! It was an entire week of dancing, singing and acting!!! I made tons of friends, and had loads of fun!!! My character was actually a pretty small part, though I didn't really mind. It was the experience that really counts.

Schedule for the day:

8:00 a.m.: Breakfast (The food is soooooooo good! And the dressings!!! They have some really nice mashed potatoes and scampi!)

9:00 a.m.: Everything starts now. We warm up, and play really fun games! There is spider, there is blood potato, there is the ball game, etc.

11:00 a.m.: Break. About twenty minutes of biscuits and drinks.

1:00 p.m.: Lunch

4:00 p.m.: Break again!

6:00 p.m.: Dinner

9:00 p.m.: Day is finished. We hang out in the common room, explore, etc. There was this once we went out to the woods, and it was soooo cool! The woods are really thick though. And it was really scary because it was already dark out.

And there were other things too! On Wednesday, we went bowling!!! And it was soooo much fun! I had two strikes! :D And there was this chair of doom thing, where everyone went on it, and you kind of get electrocuted. The game ends when you let go of the poles you're supposed to grip.

And on Thursday, we had a cabaret! Which is where you get to show off you skills and all that. I went on twice! I sang a solo, which I decided last minute, and last minute got moved up the list, so all of a sudden, Haydn, a friend of mine, goes up to me and says "You're on now!" and then I freak out. But it was really cool, and everyone loved it! My second appearance was when Harriet, the girl who plays the main character in the play, is singing. I had to play the accompaniment for her on the piano. It wasn't bad for someone who only had one day to practise it!

And there was this girl, called Maddy. She was the girl I hung out with for the entire of camp. She's really nice, and a really good singer. For the cabaret, she sang 'Popular' from Wicked, the musical. And she was reaaaaally good!

I have the emails of everyone who went to camp! A friend of mine, Murad, sent the list to me! The camp is also sending me a dvd of our musical to me in a few months time.

Okay, some things that I really want to clarify. I do not have a crush on anyone. Not from school, not from camp, not from anything else. Camp has shown me that I shouldn't just make do with crushing on someone who isn't worth crushing on. All the guys at camp were really nice and kind, and treated me well. (No, I do not have a crush on any of them. Not Tash, Not Haydn, Not Yahya, not Aidan, not Danyaal (I have a feeling he's gay.), not Murad.) So at the moment, I am single and happy.

Well, that's about it. Sorry for the not updating thing. I was just really busy.

Thursday, May 21, 2009

What's that coming over the hill? Oh, just me.

I haven't updated in a long long time. In fact, loads of people think that I've quit blogging. Silly, pathetic humans. I will never give up blogging. It is one of the things in your brain that is nagging for you to do it. Eventually, you give in and voila! you're updating.

Alright, this entry is mainly about what I've been doing in school. I've decided that my favourite subject is French. Apparently I'm in the bottom class, but everyone is surprised at the fact that I can learn so much faster than the rest of them. And you know me. I LOVE to be on top.

I have three field trips in June. One of them is to France. No, not Paris. It's a day trip to a little French village. My second field trip is to Essex coast for Geography lesson. And my third is to a castle in Essex for history. I actually don't have Geography and History, but Humanities is a combination of Geography, History and Religious Education.

Actually, I was on the waiting list for the trip to France. But then, a spot opened up and I could go! =D Furthermore, I won 100 US $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you remember my thirty-nine clues thingy? Well I won third prize in episode 2!!! What are the odds??? MUAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you're wondering about the new template. Well, lately, I've been going to deviantart and looking at really nice pictures. This picture is now my new wallpaper. Pretty, innit???

Alright, now about girl stuff. OMG, everyday I see that guy I like, and he is so totally cute!!! Our English project ended like, ages ago, but by some miracle, I now sit next to him in tutor group. How awesome is that!!!! Too bad he's got a girlfriend....but I have high hopes. Now for the bad relationship news...

.....I found out that there's a guy who likes me. I actually like him a little bit. He's someone really really smart. And according to ALL of my friends, he flirts with me a lot and I should ask him out. And I'm starting to think my relationship with that guy is kinda a hopeless case.

Anyway, back to regular stuff. There are guys reading this blog, and I don't want them to feel like vampires to garlic. My group in English were supposed to make a film, but we ended up arguing so much we didn't manage to finish it. I can see it right now....My first F in English.

As for house news, we've found a pretty nice house. It's got a HUGE garden, complete with a sun deck and a summer house!!!! I've never had a summer house before, and if my friends come over, we can just chill in it. Furthermore, if we get this house, my room is great!!! It's perfect size, furthermore I have a lot of windows and they all face the garden, so I've got tons of sunlight! The only bad things about this house is that the number of bathrooms is limited, furthermore the entire house has got wallpaper with purple flowers on it. My mom refuses to take it off. She says that's what gives the house character. I say that's what gives the house defects.

Well, that's about it. I'll update......soon.

Ing-uh-land

It's been a hectic month! I can't believe I live in England now. I'm sorry that I haven't updated in so long, I just wanted to take enough pictures to post here. But first, I'll update you readers on what I've been doing for the past month.

Firstly, I moved to England. The trip was absolute torture. The plane took an hour longer to get there, I was bored like hell, no in-flight movies, and there was this stupid guy that kept looking at ms sister and I disapprovingly, because we were watching a really funny show on her laptop, and we were laughing a lot. Yeah, sure, it was our fault, but chill, dude!!

It was five degrees when we got there, and freezing cold. My family and I were only wearing thin jackets, because we thought it was spring, so we didn't need to wear warm clothing. *Sigh* Anyways, it was a long trip home, and we had to come home and unpack. My room is actually kinda nice, because the bed's right next to the window. My sister was complaining about how she wanted a big room, and she didn't mind sharing. In the end, she had to stick with the room she already had. The bad part about having the big room is that I have to share with my sister if a guest comes and she's here. But I don't mind, because I like company when I'm falling asleep.

I got a bicycle, and I named it after Mercury, the messenger of the Roman gods. (Also associated with Hermes, the messenger of the Roman gods.) Pretty good name right? My mother also bought a bike. Really cheap, only 40 pounds!!! I could buy that. She named her's Queen. In Cambridge, everywhere is FLAT. I mean, there are so few buildings, and the buildings are all so short!!! There is no such thing as a condominium. Furthermore, Cambridge HATES cars. It takes longer on car than on bicycle, because there are all sorts of weird roundabouts for cars, and bicycles are treated like royalty. There are all sorts of cycle parking lots and cycle paths and all that stuff.

Sandwiches are all the rage in England. Apparently they're the best things for lunch, aside from pub lunches. I'm okay with the sandwiches I make at home, because I can put all sorts of weird stuff in it. But the sandwiches that you buy in stores are so BORING! Ham, tomatoes and lettuce. But there was this really nice store where they put hoisin duck in a baguette. Now THAT was good.

My allowance is 35 pounds a month. It's actually a pretty good amount, but I was supposed to get 50 :( Nevermind, I'll just save up. I have my own HSBC atm account. Except over here, they don't call it atm. They call it a 'hole in the wall'. Weird.

I've bought all my school supplies and uniform. The uniform is actually quite nice. It's a sky blue polo shirt inside, a navy jumper outside. you can choose not to wear the jumper if it's nice and hot during lunch or break. We have a choice of wearing pants or skirts. I chose pants. They're both black. For shoes, we just have completely black flats. They're design doesn't matter, so long as it's black. The jumper's a bit oversized, but apparently that's the point. In school, I've got a lot of friends, who are a bunch of giggling girls. I have a buddy who's supposed to guide me around the school, her name's Emily and she's really nice. And there's this other girl named Danielle who's really nice as well. And I've got a lot of other nice friends, but I'm too lazy to name them all.

My subjects are pretty cool. There are normal ones, like Maths and Science. In Science, we're doing forces, like push and pull, but it's way more complicated than Lai Meng's version. Nobody respects or likes my Science teacher, which I don't understand. He's actually quite nice, and a pretty good teacher. (Of course, he doesn't beat Teacher Ling or Mr.Mike.) For maths, I'm considered really really smart because they're currently studying algebra, which I already learnt. I answered a, according to them, really really really hard question. It was like this: p(p+4) Expand the brackets. So easy. Of course the answer is p squared plus 4p. But they all looked at me like I was some sort of freak genius and started asking questions about me.

In English, we're acting out the Tempest, and we're making our own short film. There's this really cute guy who's in my class, and he's really funny. Unfortunately, one of my nice friends like him, so, can't do anything. Anyway, I've had a few French classes, and I LOVE IT. My teacher's really nice, and she does everything by computer, you know, the screen one, like the ones you see in Lai Meng. And all I have to do is just memorize a few words and I can write a whole paragraph! And the scenario is exactly the same like in Maths class, where people think that I have super amazing superpowers and can read the computer's mind. And it's really fun, because we play all sorts of games in class.

That was week B. So far, I've only gone through one week in school. Week A is filled with Drama and Music classes and all that. Haha, I can say those subject in French. La theatre and La Musique. Can't wait for it! But it's so unfair, because everyone in my school can sing well. My talent isn't special anymore....Oh well.

So that's about it. I'll post the photos now
